Market your Business by Speaking in Public

Market your Business by Speaking in PublicMarket your business by speaking in public at conferences and networking events.  It is a great way of creating interest, getting people to understand what you do and persuading people to choose your business.  Your knowledge and enthusiasm is all you need to get out public speaking to market your business!

OK we know the objections; ‘I don’t like presenting’, ‘I am not a very good presenter’, ‘Where would I go to speak?’ and ‘ I doubt it would produce any business’.  Well suck it up and get stuck in because speaking to market your business works.

SPEAK TO MARKET YOUR BUSINESS, IT IS COST EFFECTIVE & POWERFUL

Work with me to make sure your presentation is exceptional so your audience believes your business is exceptional.  With the right content and delivery  ‘Speaking as Marketing’ is powerful;  Large companies can seem more personal and engaging, smaller companies can seem more capable and influential.

Your first presentation success and business result will definitely generate enjoyment. You don’t have to be a speaking professional you just have to be organised and enthusiastic. Look at the huge list below of places you could speak. There are loads of people already creating business this way.

Market your Business by Speaking in Public

At the core of a persuasive presentation is appropriate and genuine enthusiasm.  Enthusiasm embodies belief and is as infectious as chickenpox.  If the enthusiasm is supported by a great structure, a powerful micro message and sensible editing the presenter can focus on being themselves . It is simple to start building the components of your presentation.

  • Sit in your audience, what do they want?  If given the chance audiences would chant ‘What do we want?  …Useful and relevant content.  When do we want it? …… NOW’ so make sure it is about them.
  • Give people something useful and entertaining. Useful sources, processes, information; new ideas, trends, innovations. Something they can think about, talk about and do something about.
  • Research – Steal 1 idea is plagiarism steal 100 and its research, so get out there and find stuff.
  • Create 3 or 4 ‘Signature Stories’  these are stories that illustrate what your business does and what is unique or important about how you do it. Loads of entertainment potential here.
  • Write down words, phrases or jokes that you hear or arrive in your head.  Write jokes down word for word, if it made you laugh don’t change it.  If you have not yet used it try the software ‘EverNote‘ it is a fantastic tool for presentation content development.

MAKE SPEAKING YOUR NEW MARKETING TOOL

I work with individuals and businesses to create presentations that can be used to promote interest and engagement in your company, its products and services.  I also coach individuals to ensure the delivery of their business proposition is positive and persuasive. I have a long track record of sucessful coaching and writing for people in business and this usually starts by making the new familiar and the familiar new.
